Trail Therapy
Jog Derbyshire/Peak Running
Various dates
Thanks to a Forest Society Grant from the National Forest, Peak Running is running a series of free Trail Therapy sessions in the area. The sessions are all about benefitting from being outdoors in nature and the mental health boost this brings. You can choose from a running or walking option on most dates and there's no such thing as being too slow. The pace will always be relaxed with a focus on chatting and socialising, with plenty of stops for a breather and photos.
The Fractured Marathon
Taking a break in 2025
Calke Park
The Fractured Marathon is an exciting event for teams or solo runners of all abilities. The format creates a great atmosphere and is as much a Friday night running party as a race!
Based in the grounds of the spectacular Calke Abbey, the event will run for 5 hours from 7pm until midnight; going from sunlight to starlight.
There will be 10 timed laps around a scenic 2.6-mile course, which will start every half hour on the half hour.
Teams, or solo runners, can take part in as many or as few of the 10 laps as they like.

Teams can have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 runners, and be in the male, female or mixed category.

Brooksie's Bash
Peak Running.
Taking a break in 2025 Foremarke Hall
A trail race covering 10 country miles in a beautiful part of South Derbyshire. This is an inclusive event, with no specific time cut-off and we welcome people of all abilities. As long as you're making forward progress, walking or running, you're welcome at the Brooksie's Bash!

If you haven't taken part in an off-road event before it is a great opportunity to come and have a go in a friendly and supportive environment, where there aren't any time-limits.

Run for the Trees
Peak Running
Throughout February each year
Join Peak Running for a month long challenge, designed to get you out and about during an often dreary February. Choose to complete 50, 100 or 200 miles over the month - walking or running - and you'll receive free access to virtual races and guided runs to help boost your miles. But the best thing is your entry will be supporting the National Forest - for every 200 miles completed, Peak Running will plant a tree and you'll receive a beautiful wooden award if you reach your target.

Jog Derbyshire group members benefit from a 15% discount. Contact your group leader for the code.
Derby 10k
Spring 2026
The Derby 10k is one of our favourite events in the calendar because it's where we bring hundreds of Jog Derbyshire members together in one room, which makes for one amazing atmosphere. If you're part of a Jog Derbyshire group you get a discount on race entry and access to the Jog Derbyshire room pre and post race with dedicated bag drop and clean, queue-less toilets.
Your jog leader will coordinate access to this nearer the time so have a chat with them if you've got any questions or drop us an email to hello@jogderbyshire.co.uk
