Safeguarding & Welfare
Jog Derbyshire is an organisation who support community Jogging programmes and activities to help increase physical activity levels and encourage people to become and remain active.
Everyone involved in sport and activity, whether they are a coach, leader, volunteer or participant should never have to worry about abuse or harassment.
Safeguarding in sport is the process of protecting children and adults from harm by providing a safe space in which to be active.
Everyone has a role to play in keeping others safe and people should know what to do if they have any concerns.
They can also help clubs to develop and embed safeguarding best practice within their communities.
